Yes. AI chat is an optional Pro feature, with Managed AI, bring-your-own-key, and supported on-device choices available in the app.
Pet state and memories are stored locally by default. Pro can optionally sync distilled long-term memories through your private iCloud database; this is off by default, and recent raw chats stay on your Mac.
Nibbii uses high-privacy defaults. Read the Privacy Notice for the data the app can handle and your choices.
When App-aware is enabled, Nibbii uses frontmost app metadata. It does not use screen recording, screenshots, or accessibility content. Turning App-aware off stops collection and clears App-aware data.
While App-aware is enabled, Now Playing automatically collects the current track title, artist, and album from the active player.
